BEAT THE BANKERS

Nathan Dean protesting at the G20 Demo, City of London, 1st April 2009

We are an unsigned band, with no money, no studio, and very little equipment. Everything I write comes from my heart, I tell the truth about what is either happening to me, my friends, family, and people / issues that I care about. Grand Harmonic are not a political band, rather I have written a song that seems to be striking a chord with the nation.

The Bankers is a song about what the banks are currently doing to me. I believe that they are also doing the same to millions of people and families across the UK let alone the world.

They charged me £1200 in the space of just 30 days, more than my monthly salary. Consequently the mortgage went on the credit card and it spiralled out of control from there. Now they are taking me to court for money that I never even owed them in the 1st place. To add insult to injury the latest report I heard is that everyone in the country has given them £33,000 in taxes as a bail out. They are therefore spending my bail out money (or even yours!) to sue me.

I believe that these charges are illegal, and the band are backing me up 110%

The single is meant to be a light hearted poke at the bankers, to show them what the nation really thinks of them.

If they have done the same to you, then please come and join us and help spread the word.
